If I could create in my readers' minds, the colors and textures contained in the photograph below, without the aid of the photo itself, I would be a writer.

FEATURED STORIES

BY CHRIS MILLS

Earth_Western_Hemisphere.jpg

This is a sci-fi thriller that I have just finished. It is about 12,000 words long (62 pages).

This is about the invasion of Earth by aliens seeking a new home. Yes, this is a slightly overdone plot, but my description of how humans defend themselves blows Independence Day off the screen.

I hope you enjoy the story and I would really appreciate any feedback you could give me to make the story stronger.

Not that the story need be long, but it will take a long while to make it short.
